It seems like these two kitchen gadgets are often overlooked when it comes to cleaning, but one cleaning expert shared her quick and easy tips for effortlessly cleaning these well-used tools.

Chantel Mila , a mother of two from Melbourne, regularly shares her cleaning tips and tricks on TikTok.

He has 1 million followers and 12.8 million likes on the video sharing platform, where many of his clever tricks often go viral.

In one of her latest videos, Chantel shared a quick how-to on how to deep clean a toaster and kettle.

Chantel uploaded the video with the caption, "So easy, you can make this while dinner is cooking." When was the last time you cleaned the kettle and toaster?

She explained: "Tip: How to thoroughly clean the toaster and kettle.

"Unplug your toaster and use a hair dryer to remove any stuck crumbs.

This will prevent crumbs from building up and clogging the toaster.

Instead, Chantel advised: "Fill the kettle and boil some lemon slices to get rid of limescale.

"The citric acid in lemons makes your kettle sparkle."
