Simple Cooking Tips: How to Clean a Gas Burner - Watch the Video - NDTV Food

To clean the gas burner:

  • Drink warm water in a container.
  • Add some circa (vinegar). You can replace it with lemon juice.
  • Place dirty and clogged burners in pan.
  • Place the lemon slices in the bowl. This step is optional.
  • Let it soak overnight or at least two to three hours.
  • Now clean the burners with a scouring pad. Add some dish soap and rub again.
  • Cover the holes (on the burner) with a string, toothpick or needle.
  • Clean it well with a dry cloth and you have a clean and like new gas burner.
