With the British continuing to spend time indoors during the coronavirus lockdown, the properties may need more frequent cleaning. When you clean the windows, the owners explained how to do it with vinegar.
How to clean the windows
The social media user wrote: "What can I use to clean the windows, please?"
"I bought glass and mirror material, stained it and used a new microfiber cloth.
"I saw the mess and tried hot water with a dash of detergent and vinegar.

"I used another new microfiber cloth to put it on and cleaned it with a newspaper.
"When the sun shone on the window later that day, they looked terrible."
The owner said she used window cleaner to clean her windows but it left marks.
Other homeowners were quick to come up with cheap tricks for cleaning windows with just vinegar.
"White vinegar [and] a new microfiber cloth ... no sorting strips or frames," said a third.
A quarter said, "White vinegar is the best," while another added, "White vinegar and water."
While there are many expensive items available at the grocery store, they may not be required.
Researching online can be a great way to find cleaning tips.
