The best part? Instead of going out and buying a new set of glasses before spring and summer, all it takes is some uncooked rice.

And according to Statista, raw white rice costs 82 cents a pound in the United States, meaning you can spend that money elsewhere.

The cleaning pro said that drinking glass owners should start by "stirring a handful of uncooked rice in warm water around the cloudy, cloudy glass" to keep drinking glasses looking "as good as new."

This will help remove dirt and grime from the glass.

He explains the process like this: "Drain the rice and put it in the glass on a dishwasher tablet and fill it up with hot water.

"Let this sit overnight and after rinsing, your glass will look as good as new."

The in-house expert didn't stop with his incredible insight into glassware - he shared some tips on how to make your cutlery shine like new again.

Over time, stainless steel can look worn and scratched if not polished and cared for regularly.
