After a woman noticed limescale buildup in her kettle, she tried several DIY tricks to fix the problem.
She revealed which virus cleaning tricks worked best and left your device spotless.
In her video, TikTok user Roo ( @rooshome ) explained that she felt like she was "drinking pure limestone" every time she used her teapot.
He decided to try viral DIY techniques to descale the device, starting with lemons.
Roo cut several lemons into pieces and added them to her kettle before bringing them to the boil.
After showing his audience the calcium deposits, he joked that he was praying for "a real miracle."

He inspected the kettle after it was boiling and expressed disappointment that limescale deposits were still visible at the bottom.
Roo chose the "second round" after searching Google for suggestions.
"I now officially have a PhD in teapot descaling and have come to the conclusion that baking soda will work. This time I leave it on for at least half an hour," he explained.
After leaving it, the TikToker inspected the teapot and found that the trick "didn't really work."

He joked that he wasn't dealing with "regular limestone," but instead called it "teenage mutant ninja limestone."
Roo explained that he lives in a "hard water area" and noted that the limescale in his teapot was "no joke."
As a final attempt, he decided to pour distilled white vinegar into his teapot.
"At this point I'm ready to commit to a life of lime tea, but I'm not going to lie, it actually all worked out," Roo said.
He showed his viewers the much cleaner bottom of his teapot.
The content creator added that she could leave the vinegar on the device overnight.
