March 3 , Cornelius resident Tommy Walker has over 50 years of appliance repair experience and was responsible for Tommy's Appliance Service until his retirement several years ago. Starting this month, Tommy will offer the community his tips for different devices.
Today's dishwashers displace far less water, so they have to run longer to get the same performance as they used to.
You can speed up the cleaning process by always running the hot kitchen sink before starting the dishwasher.
If you can put your hand under the tap, your water isn't hot enough.
Just like in washing machines, I use powder for better washability.
