Coronavirus: The Queen's Advice from Aggie MacKenzie for a good deep cleansing

"We now live in a completely different world," he said exclusively to the Sunday Express, "and I think we have to take responsibility individually and together."

"We really need to work together and help each other to manage this virus and its climax.

MacKenzie, 64, previously worked with Kim Woodburn on the successful Channel 4 show How's Your House Clean. which earned them fame, including an interview on the Oprah Winfrey Show in the United States.

"She didn't speak to either of us before or after the show, but it was perfectly nice," he said. "It was strictly controlled."

The presenter has a new special, "How to Thoroughly Clean Your Home," which was ordered before the Corona error was installed, but now seems more relevant, she says.

"It is time to clean up and clean thoroughly. It's a good time at home with lots of people.

"What happens to the crown is that it's a great alarm clock." For example, we all know that your remote control is full of bacteria. But because it's invisible, it's easy to ignore.

"Although we are not particularly focused on the corona virus, we are talking about being more careful and we need to clean our house thoroughly from time to time as there are pests removed."

"It's really back to the basics."

Many people, she says, are still complacent about hygiene at home.

"It's difficult to generalize, but many of us are lazy. People run out of time, so they run around on the surfaces and don't clean as thoroughly as we should. Now that we're more at home, it's time to look around and see what you can do. to improve your home "

MacKenzie's cleaning mistake was inspired by his mother.

"I was brought up by a cleaning obsessive mother, so we drilled it when we were young.

"It wasn't really raining back then, but when I was at Good Housekeeping, I always liked what we called the 'stain' problem.

"I just recorded it and then found that I had all of this information."

MacKenzie, divorced since 2010, lives alone and "it's okay".

She has two grown children, Ewan and Rory.

It is still recognized. "Someone came up to me recently and said, 'Didn't you teach at my school?' Its so funny "

AGGIE's five best tips "Deep Clean"

1) Remote control: wipe it clean with a microfiber that kills all bacteria. They are amazing. The tissue is "loaded" and acts as a magnet for germs. It doesn't really kill them. It brings them up from the surface.

2) Top of kitchen cabinets: To reduce cleanliness, insert newspaper sheets to absorb germs and replace them every two months. It's dark up there.

3) Oven racks: are hit by grease and dirt. Forget oven cleaners. A quick way is to use normal sandpaper from top to bottom.

4) Kitchen taps: Attack Scale, which attracts bacteria and uses kitchen rolls soaked in vinegar and wrapped overnight.

5) Loo reaches so many germs here. Use a fiber cloth and use it regularly.
